Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ant Lab AI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and other products and services (together, the “Services”). It applies whether you reach the Services through a web browser, our iOS app, or any other channel. It does not apply to the practices of companies we do not own or control.

Information we collect

We collect information to provide and improve the Services and to keep them secure. The categories below describe what we may collect; we only collect what is necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Information you provide

Account data. Your name, email address, and password (stored only as a one-way hash) when you create an account, plus any profile details you choose to add.
Sign-in data. When you use a third-party provider such as GitHub or Sign in with Apple, we receive the profile information that provider shares—typically your name, email address, profile image, and a stable account identifier.
Content and inputs. Anything you submit to the Services, such as prompts, files, logs, or messages you send to us (including support emails to [email protected]).
Billing data. Where a paid feature is available, the contact and payment details needed to process a transaction. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.

Information collected automatically

Device and technical. IP address, browser type and version, operating system, hardware model, app version, and device identifiers (including the advertising identifier on mobile where permitted by your settings).
Usage. Pages or screens viewed, features used, taps and clicks, search terms, and other interaction logs.
Diagnostics. Crash reports, performance metrics, and error logs that help us identify and fix problems.
Location. Approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise location unless you grant the relevant permission in the app, and we do not use precise location to serve ads.

Information from third parties

Analytics, crash-reporting, and authentication providers, as described under “Third-party services & SDKs.”
Public sources, used to keep our records accurate and to prevent fraud.
When you connect a third-party account or integration, whatever that service makes available to us under your authorization.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
create and manage your account and authenticate you;
communicate with you about your account, updates, security alerts, and (where you have opted in) product news;
respond to support requests and feedback;
monitor for abuse, fraud, and security incidents and protect against them;
analyze usage and behavior so we can understand what works and build better features;
comply with our legal and regulatory obligations; and
carry out the other purposes described at the time of collection or that you otherwise consent to.

Legal bases for processing

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal information only where we have a lawful basis. We rely on:

Contract — to provide the Services you asked for and to operate your account.
Consent — for non-essential cookies, any tracking that requires it under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, and marketing communications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Legitimate interests — to keep the Services secure, prevent abuse, analyze and improve performance, and maintain business records. We balance these interests against your rights and only rely on them where they do not override your interests.
Legal obligation — to meet requirements such as record-keeping and responding to lawful requests.
Vital interests — to protect someone’s life or physical safety.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar storage technologies on the web and mobile identifiers in our apps to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure usage, and detect abuse. We do not use cookies to sell your personal information.

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Services to function and cannot be turned off.
Preference cookies remember your settings.
Analytics cookies help us understand how the Services are used.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings and reset the advertising identifier in your device’s privacy settings. On iOS, any tracking that falls under App Tracking Transparency requires your explicit permission, which you can withdraw in Settings at any time. Some parts of the Services may not work if you disable cookies.

We share personal information only as described in this policy:

Service providers. Companies that help us run the Services—such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting, email delivery, and customer support—under contracts that require them to protect your information and use it only for our instructions.
Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with the law, a legal process, or a government request; to enforce our agreements; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ant Lab AI, our users, or the public; or to investigate fraud or security issues.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, financing, or similar transaction, we may transfer information to the acquiring or successor entity, subject to confidentiality obligations.
With your consent. We may share information with third parties when you ask us to or authorize it.
Aggregated and de-identified data. We may share statistics that no longer identify you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that would constitute a “sale” or “share” under California law.

Third-party services and SDKs

The Services use third-party tools that may collect information through their own SDKs and APIs. These include cloud hosting, web and in-app analytics, crash and performance reporting, authentication (such as GitHub and Sign in with Apple), and email delivery. Each provider acts as an independent controller of any personal information it collects under its own privacy policy, and some—particularly analytics and crash-reporting SDKs—may collect device identifiers and usage data.

The privacy “nutrition labels” shown on the App Store product page reflect our actual data practices for the iOS app. We support Sign in with Apple, which lets you sign in without sharing your real email address.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy. After that, we retain it for longer only where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, protect against fraud, and maintain security and audit records—then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your data earlier; see “Your rights” below.

International data transfers

We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States and member states of the European Union. Where personal information leaves the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on recognized safeguards such as the European Commission’s adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism, and we require our service providers to do the same.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. To exercise any of them, email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy request.” We will respond, free of charge, within the time the law requires (generally 30 days), and we may ask for information to verify your identity.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Access a copy of your personal information.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Ask us to delete your data.
Restrict or object to processing.
Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already took place.
Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

California and other U.S. states

Know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it.
Request deletion of your personal information.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information—we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

If we ever use tracking that requires consent under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency or similar frameworks, you can grant or withdraw that consent in your device settings.

Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the higher age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in that age range. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services evolve or to reflect legal changes. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date above. For material changes, we will also provide notice through the Services or by email where feasible. The version that applies to you is the one in effect at the time you use the Services.
